Farm Yard

The Essex County Farmyard serves as both an educational and entertaining venue for fairgoers. Standing around the fenced in grass area, sometimes three-deep, they can watch kids try to climb to the top of the "money Pole", learn about the Essex County Sheriff's K-9 Unit, watch hen flying and cock crowing competitions, meet miniature horses and watch sheep being sheared. Or, visitors can simply walk through the attached tent and visit with tiny pigs, sheep with their lambs, horses and other farm animals. They may also come face to face with a llama!
