Monster Truck & Demo Derby
Tour the Fair
When the calendar flips to October, it'll mark a thrilling time for enthusiasts of bone-crushing motorsports action in the Topsfield area when JM Productions invades the Topsfield Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 1st at both 4pm and 7pm with Monster Truck freestyle shows featuring four of the more highly decorated trucks in the industry.
Headlining will be the "Black Stallion" monster truck. A staple on the Monster Jam national tour, Black Stallion was the first Monster Jam truck to have shocks made specifically for it and was the first to have Bypass Tube shock created; something nearly all monster trucks now feature today.
Not to be outdone is the Iron Warrior Monster Truck. Iron Warrior first debuted all the way back in 1998 and the 2008 Ford F-150 body has performed all around the nation. The chassis is custom designed by Michael Vaters, one of the best known monster truck drivers in the world.
Jethro Tull and Temporarily Insane are also scheduled to appear.
For rabid monster truck fans, there's a "Party in the Pit" before each show where you can meet the drivers, get their autographs and take close-up pictures of the trucks.
If monster trucks weren't enough, both October 1st shows will feature a Demolition Derby event.
Derby drivers both near and far are always welcome to participate and be part of the action. For information on how you can be a part of the Demolition Derby, call JM Productions at (716) 980-6533 or visit their website, www.jmderby.com
